About The Attorney

I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1996 and from Notre Dame Law School, with honors, in 2001. While in law school, I studied for one year at Notre Dame’s campus in London, England.

After law school, I served for nearly three years as an attorney-adviser at the Surface Transportation Board, a Federal administrative agency in Washington, DC tied to the Department of Transportation.

In 2004 I opened a solo law practice in Rockville, Maryland focusing on the areas of civil litigation, criminal law, and family law. I represented numerous individuals in a wide variety of cases, including divorce, child custody, traffic, criminal, and civil litigation matters. I practiced in both State and Federal courts in Maryland and in the courts of the District of Columbia.

From 2009 to 2011, I worked as an associate with the Law Offices of Raymond Carignan, Chtd., in Severna Park, Maryland. During this time, I continued my practice in all three areas of civil litigation, criminal law, and family law.

In 2011, I resumed my solo practice, this time in Annapolis, Maryland, and I now limit my practice almost exclusively to family law, which I most enjoy.

In addition to my law practice, I am deeply interested in the field of nutrition and, in particular, in the intersection of nutrition and the field of politics. I maintain a blog called The National Fork on which I discuss such topics. I invite you to visit my blog and share your experiences on the topic of food and nutrition by commenting on any of my posts. You may visit my blog by going to www.NationalFork.com.
